Introduction to Troubadour
Troubadour Productions were established in the summer of 2004 when
they developed their first Christmas pantomime to schools, “The Dingle
Dangle Scarecrows Christmas Adventure”. This was an original piece
aimed at infants and Key stage I children,The scarecrow show was
extremely popular and since that year Troubadour have performed in
dozens of schools offering to KS1 and KS2 such titles as”Cinderella”,
“Sleeping Beauty”, “Puss in Boots” and this year “Aladdin” and many
more.
As part of our ethos is to actively involve a number of the children from
the audience in the production, we pre-brief a number of children and
then invite them on to the stage to take small parts in the show.
The level of involvement in the show depends on the age and ability of
the children involved. So for example younger children will stand and
play the part of trees whilst the older children will have a line or two in
the show with the actors. We also like to involve the head teacher or
