Troubadour Productions were established in the summer of 2004 when they developed their first Christmas pantomime to schools, “The Dingle Dangle Scarecrows Christmas Adventure”. This was an original piece aimed at infants and Key stage I children,The scarecrow show was extremely popular and since that year Troubadour have performed in dozens of schools offering  to KS1 and KS2 such titles as”Cinderella”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Puss in Boots” and this year “Aladdin” and many more. As part of our ethos is to actively involve a number of the children from the audience in the production, we pre-brief a number of children and then invite them on to the stage to take small parts in the show. The level of involvement in the show depends on the age and ability of the children involved. So for example younger children will stand and play the part of trees whilst the older children will have a line or two in the show with the actors. We also like to involve the head teacher or some other person of note within the School as this is always very popular with the children. All our pantomimes are very interactive and children will be encouraged to give all the appropriate panto responses and sing along with contemporary pop songs that are added to the show.
